the lowest & what I think not worth watching a Books There is one Book all Black Belts should & must read: Karate-Do Nyuman by Gichin Funakoshi.
The first book in this list, is a must for all new Students to Karate-Do (Very easy to read and understand)
Videos & DVDs
There are probably more Video/DVDs worth watching that I have not seen or forgotten about & there must be more bad Video/DVD I have not yet seen, again let me know what you think.
Opinions Hai Corbyn here The best thing about my Club is that its Shotokan Karate. You learn how to defend yourself in a real fight. Most of our moves are said in Japanese for example Kime for focus and Soto uke for side of hand block. I think the best thing we do is the flying kick competition, if nyou win you get a Mars Bar If you were in a freestyle club, you might have a bit of fun, but you won't learn as much as you learn here, and you will proberly like our club more anyway.,ost things you learn in a freestyle club club will not work in self defense. In our club you will learn how to defend yourself against other people. Oh, we are doing a league which contains other members from our club and we fight each other three times and if you win the league, you will get a sheild with your name engraved on it and you get to keep it for a whole year good or what. I must stress this is only my opinion, if anyone disagrees I could re-assess
maybe ! Anyway let me have your opinion.
